with Leta for 14+ years

"I've been dealing with Leta for 14+ years. She's provided factory-style canvas for a three of my Bayliners. She also made a custom cockpit cover for one of them. In addition, she made a custom cover for my Boston Whaler 130 SS, designed to be used as a mooring cover, as well as a trailering cover. In every single case her work has been excellent and her prices amazingly reasonable."

"Leta's crew just finished all new canvas on my 2007 Wellcraft 270 Coastal, along with new gunnel cushions for the aft deck. Everything looks and fits great. I could not be happier. Am already recommending the shop to a friend who needs canvas for his 3150 Pursuit."

"We paid just under $3000 for new canvas for our 2004 Maxum 3100 SE back in 2014. Leta's had really good ratings so we felt good about the purchase. It didn't even last one full year. The stitching was poor, the thread was thin and definitely not Kevlar thread. The seams came apart. It was absolutely horrible. am pretty sure it was a rushed job as when we called and asked where our new canvas was after more than a month and having paid 50% up front, we got a bit of a run around and got the canvas a week and a half later. We pieced it together over the past few years because we had to make it work due to the cost. It is now totally destroyed. Every seam eventually failed. It was pretty disappointing. And the sad thing is, we threw away our original canvas when we received the new one from Leta's and now we can't find anyone that can make a new canvas for this very expensive boat. I live in Pittsburgh and the options for boat canvas here are slim. Seems Leta's is the only company that has the patterns. Needless to say, I am highly annoyed.__May 2019 edit: We were contacted by Leta's after my review and the company is now under new management. They went to great lengths to make this experience much better and they absolutely succeeded. After speaking with the new management, I decided to have them make my new canvas. I still have not been able to install it on my boat, but we have examined it closely and it is absolutely beautiful. I plan to post some photos once it's on our boat if it ever stops raining here in Pittsburgh. My experience with Deanna and her staff was stellar and totally opposite from my previous experience. Deanna is a pleasure to work with and took the time to make sure my new boat canvas was exactly what I wanted. I am so happy I took the opportunity presented to make my previous experience right. So, even before I get to put this new canvas on my boat, I would give the new Leta's 5 stars for sure. It is rare when a company goes to such lengths to make things right and it speaks volumes to me. Thank you Deanna. And thank you to your fabulous and talented team. I am so happy you contacted me. Look for the photos coming soon (unless the rain never stops)."

"Leta's were great to work with. I needed new canvas for my Bayliner SB305 but wanted some modifications. They took the time to better understand what I needed, worked with me throughout the process and I am absolutely thrilled with the new canvas. Best company I have worked with recently as far as quality, price, and customer service."

"We took a Crestliner Top that we tore the zipper seam out. They had us bring it in to see what they could do and fixed it right then. They were awesome and Leta was so nice. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. She has a pretty big shop with lots of employees so must do a lot of work but fit us in so we made crabbing season. Thanks so much! "
